We partner with six primary schools, two secondary schools and two special schools involving a total of 700 children. Each child attends two professional performances at the theatre over the year.
We aim to give all learners:
1. A positive, fun and exciting experience of theatre.
2. The ability and confidence to make use of their local theatre as a readily accessible and lifelong resource
3. The knowledge that art is for everyone regardless of circumstance
and maybe for some...
*An unforgettable image...
*a snatch of song or a story...
*The magical feeling of the lights going down...
*The quite joy of sitting next to someone they fancied in the dark...
*The start of the time when school became much more enjoyable...
*The theatre belongs to everyone...
*The sensation of a magical world opening up...
*The understanding that grown-ups love stories too...
